Emerging researcher and leader in the field of oncology nursing, whose academic journey culminated in the recent achievement of a Ph.D. Their passion for advancing knowledge and making impactful contributions to oncology nursing has driven their career from the outset. Their doctoral research entitled ‘Biographical Compromise When Living with a Chronic Condition and Caring for Someone with Cancer: A Grounded Theory Analysis’ addressed how informal carers manage their chronic conditions whilst caring for a family member or friend with cancer. Dr Daren Chircop is a lecturer at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Malta and harbours an interest in the use of technology in Education. Dr Daren Chircop is also a haematology nurse at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre in Malta.
