Dominique Correia de Oliveira is a senior lecturer at HESAV, Haute Ecole de Santé du Canton de Vaud, Lausanne, Switzerland, and quality auditor for Palliative.CH.
He has a degree in Nursing from ESEVC,Escola Superior de Enfermagem de Viana de Castelo. with a specialization in Clinical Nutrition from FCNAUP, Faculdade das Ciencias de Nutriçao da Universidade do Porto. Specialist in Maternal and Obstetrical Health holds a Master in Management of Health Institutions by the Geneva Haute Ecole de Commerce. The object of his Master thesis was the analysis of a project for the implementation of a computerized care record within a home care service and the understanding of its organizational, operational and managerial impacts. By his managerial experience in the socio-health sector, he will be able to contribute to understanding and identifying the organizational and operational challenges of digital transformation within the teams of teachers and collaborators of different schools and universities.
Actually, his research interest is about the use of new technologies in the area of Health and the Pedagogy. He is member of the scientific committee of Gamification Serious Games Symposium, Neuchâtel, Switzerland (https//.gsgs.ch) and member of Swiss Association for Nursing Science, scientific society of andragogy and care: Digital Nursing Science.
Professor Correia has the experience of Clinical Simulation, Simulated Patients and was the author of the research project to develop a Serious Game software prototype to support the simulation of a case of urgency: Serious Games for Emergency Rescue -SG4ER, and PRITS -Patients’ Rights Innovative Teach Strategy.
